Welcome to the home page of the Dean's office at DCIBIN. The Dean is the Chief Academic Officer and his or her office oversees the Academic affairs of this great institution.
The Dean's office collaborates with the Human resources department of this institution in the hiring of faculty, promotions, re-appointments, mentoring, appointment for instructional and support staff for the academic programs offered at DCIBIN. The office leads in the structuring of academic programs, international programs, practical missions and the general development of academic departments, certifications and accreditation.
The Dean's office recommends the conferring of diplomas and certificates on students who have fulfilled all the necessary requirements needed to graduate from their program of study.
About the Dean, Dr. Eric Ofori Bekoe, PHD
Dr. Eric is the newest addition to DCIBIN. He was part of the first batch of students who went through the DCI School of Ministry (DCISOM) in 2016.
Dr. Eric graduated from the University of Ghana in 1994 with a Bachelor’s in History and Philosophy and from the University of Toledo with two Masters’ degrees in Literature in English (2002) and History (2004). He later pursued his doctorate in the disciplined-based program at St. John’s University in Queens, New York. He graduated with a Doctor of Arts degree in Modern History.
Dean Bekoe has taught in mainly literature, composition and social science programs in both the United States and Ghana. He is currently involved in curriculum designing, implementation and evaluation. He is also involved in instruction and advisement with The College of New Rochelle where he also chairs the social science department at the Rosa Parks Campus in New York City. His interest is in academia centers around globalization, world religions and the Cold War and has taught in these areas in addition to college composition and philosophy.
Dr. Eric Bekoe is also involved in editing for referred journals in the United States and Africa. He also reviews books for academic journals as well. As an Associate Editor of the Pan AfriKan Times, he has gained much experience in the African political economy as well.

Students earn the privilege of being on the Dean's list and graduate with honors. The dean's office sets the academic requirements that students need to attain to be on the dean's honor roll.
